ABOUT MIDLAND MOULD

Established in 1997 by John Finnerty, John took the risk of leaving his secure job to start up his own business. Midland Mould and Engineering was born and John began the journey of manufacturing precast moulds for the precast concrete industry. Over the years MME has become one of the leading manufacturers of precast moulds in the industry with clients all over Ireland and globally.

Superior Product

Midland Mould manufacture precast moulds of all shapes and sizes to the clients requirements. We work hand in hand with them on the design and details required for each individual mould. Our aim is to provide the customer with a superior product that will last them multiple years allowing them significant return on their investment.

All our concrete steel moulds are designed and manufactured at our facility in Kilbeggan, Co.Westmeath. Having a highly skilled workforce with over 60 years experience between them, ensures we consistently produce top quality work and exceed deadlines on a regular basis.

Bespoke Precast Mould Specialists

While we can produce precast moulds of any description, our engineers are also specialists in once off bespoke projects. These bespoke moulds are usually only needed for one fill or may also be a mould that would be too costly to manufacture from another material.

We also manufacture precast moulds for the Coote, MacFab and Moyle handling machines, both wet and dry cast. Large scale tank moulds for wastewater treatment, septic tanks and water storage. ESB junction boxes, Irish Water chamber moulds, prestressed lintel beds and beam moulds.

Plasma Cutting

We use the latest in Air, Oxygen and Nitrogen plasma cutting systems using Hypertherm technology.

Folding Services

MME have multiple brake presses which enable us to offer a wide range of folding services in all types of materials.

Plate / Section Rolling

Production is equiped to roll plate from 1mm to 10mm in thickness depending on the diameter needed by the customer.

Cutting Services

Cutting is acheived in multiple ways to for steel of all shapes and sizes. From our advance Hypertherm plasma system to sheet metal guillotines and semi-automatic bandsaws for section cutting.
